I am impressed with Nootropic's Depot Micronized Zinc. So much so that I decided to log into reddit and post a review (which i never do).
I previously have never been able to take standard zinc supplements too often as they usually always cause me to get nauseated. ND micronized zinc causes me no nausea at all even when i take it on an empty stomach.
Acute effects: The first thing I noticed when I took ND's zinc is that it potentiated my prescribed Adderall dose. The potentiation was almost uncomfortable. I could easily see this being used for someone who is on stims and wants to reduce their dose to help reset their tolerance.
Long term effects: After about a week or so of taking it I started noticing my testosterone was definitely boosted (Im 37). I noticed I was occasionally getting a few pimples and my libido was through the roof.
I have since reduced my dosage and now take approx. 1/4 of a capsule daily. I also take a week off here and there to prevent copper deficiency (which Zinc supplements can cause). Every morning I break the capsule open and dump my dose out. It is virtually tasteless and is easier than it sounds.
Overall I am very pleased with this supplement…

I'm always impressed at the amount of thought you put into your stuff. Can't wait to see your sleep and digestion stacks.

We've been developing the Natrium stacks for over 2 years! It's crazy to look back on when we started, and everything that has gone on till now. The complexity of putting 8-10 ingredients into a stack, doing the testing and work we do on things, is so much greater than single or two ingredient products. If we are doing 5 analytical tests on a single ingredient, that turns into 50 for a 10 ingredient product! Then we have to develop methods to test the mixture of things as well, apart from each raw ingredient individually. That way we can test to make sure things are in the proper amounts and ratios in the capsules. If one thing is wrong on a single ingredient, it completely halts the entire stack. It's just so much more complex than other things.
