well, i didn't have time to wait, and put in another order last week. it's like taking shots in the dark. i ended up going with a sampler of ginseng, piracetam powder this time (as opposed to capsules), oxiracetam, and some l-tyrosine powder. should i stick with one thing for at least a week before bouncing from nootropic to nootropic? seems like i'm not getting much out of the aniracetam - which is unfortunate because i was looking forward to the supposed mood elevation. hard to tell on the piracetam because i haven't been on it long enough or more than two days in a row. i wish i could find something simple to help get me rolling. stuck in a rut, no motivation, dysthymic my whole life. used to be successful career wise, but now lost. major sleep issues which probably is responsible for a lot of my concentration issues, procrastination issues, social issues, etc. maybe nootropics won't solve my issues, but was hopeful that they'd give me the boost to get things back on track. i don't know if i'm a non-responder or if they will do very little if four hours or so of low quality of sleep a night on average will negate any of its benefits.

Poor sleep is hard to counteract properly without addressing the sleep itself. It's fighting an uphill battle. I certainly would not use piracetam and aniracetam to do it, either. Those are good subtle nootropics, but they are not going to give you motivation and concentration with sleep deprivation.
I would suggest taking bacopa before bed each night. Probably some Sensoril and 300mcg melatonin, too. Avoid blue light at night, and get some sunlight first thing in the AM. See if you can get your sleep schedule working a bit better.
The ginseng, L-tyrosine, and oxiracetam are good for the morning. You can definitely stack the piracetam in as well. I would also suggest trying polygala and caffeine/L-theanine for a motivation/energy boost.
