Yes, we have rejected multiple batches now, because pretty much everything coming out of China right now is Rhodiola Crenulata mislabeled as Rhodiola Rosea. I would put money on many of the "Rhodiola rosea" products being sold on the market right now as actually being crenulata. Almost nobody does a species analysis of their plant extracts, and an HPLC will still show salidrosides; since crenulata has those. However, there will be zero rosavins, since that compound is not found in the crenulata species.

We are working on it, but I will only sell a batch that is Rhodiola rosea with at least 3% salidrosides by HPLC. That's just taking a long time to actually get.

Possible Fake?

Always make sure it says "sold by Nootropics Depot" when buying from us on Amazon. We have brand protection on there, which is supposed to prevent hijacking of our listings. However, they seem to have found a way around

Whoever left the review calling Rhodiola Crenulata "nap in a bottle"...

See, this is why I try to explain that we are all so different. For the average person, the crenulata is stimulating. However, some people have paradoxical reactions to things.

So which products are getting the axe?

Replying to anexanhume · Rhodiola Rosea is now endangered, so unless ND changes to a synthesized version like NNB is doing, it may go away.

We are actually working with a company that is cell culturing plants in vats, and Rhodiola is one of them. We think that is the future, if they can bring costs down.

Salidrosol Solution vs. Crenulata Powder: Is there a functional difference between the two?

Plant extracts always have more in them than just the main standardized actives. Crenulata is a pretty cool one that gets overshadowed by the rosea species. I think sometimes it gets a bad name because at lot of dishones
