The immune system is complicated like this. You need some inflammation and stress to properly deal with pathogens and cancerous cells. It's a balance that needs to be maintained. It is super interesting that some pathogens have evolved to use the PS pathway against our own immune system, though! That's something I did not know. They use our own signaling to trick our immune system into not attacking them. Super shitty, but super interesting!
As to how this might be affected by exogenous PS supplementation, I am not sure. I will have to do some reading on it.
