Get bitcoin start paying for your nootropics with it. Your credit card/bank transfer payments are literally holding back the future of nootropics and making them more expensive for you.

I'd like to make a proposal to this community to make a concerted effort to get some bitcoin and purchase all your nootropics with it.

#Why should we do this?
Many of you pay for your nootropics with credit cards or bank transfers because it's a bit more convenient, you already have it setup, and it seems like a benign way to pay. However, if you follow postings by some of our most reliable vendors you'll see they are really struggling and being held back and some in actual jeopardy because banks are clamping down on them imposing crazy limits/fees/disruptions/etc. But what I want to stress is that it's in your best interest to pay with bitcoin because paying with credit cards is holding back future nootropics and raising your prices.

Every credit card payment holds back new nootropics
The more income from credit cards the more the nootropic company is a slave to what the credit card company will allow them to sell. /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb has stated he has a whole line up of new nootropics ready to release but can't due to restrictions. If this community made a concerted effort to switch to bitcoin we would almost instantly see *a renaissance of next generation compou…

Bitcoin is a fucking pain in the ass for your average consumer. Lets face it those 3 steps aren't nearly as simple as you made out to be. I was making a purchase on nootropics depot and decided I would go ahead with the bitcoin payment after a little reading thinking it would be handy enough, after plenty of back and forth bullshit trying to set up my coinbase account, wallet, having to upload a photo of my password etc etc my bank ended up declining the transaction and blocking my card from online payments until I rang them up to authorise it. Shouldn't be that difficult for one little purchase.

That's because Coinbase has to follow US banking regulations, and is still subject to the inefficient flow of fiat currency. If you bought from someone on Localbitcoins, it would take no time at all. Also, ETH and LTC are faster to use than BTC at the moment. A lot of what the growing pains are going to consist of is dealing with the legacy fiat systems. It's trying to buy the crypto with your fiat that is so frustrating right now. That's because they have to follow FinCEN regulations on verification of identity, and you are trying to use a Visa card to buy them. Both those systems are huge hassles.

This is certainly in the initial stages. It's going to be a long road to get where we are going. However, we are going there. Crypto is going to be a huge part of the financial system in the coming decades. There is a lot of hype and bullshit out there, and some people might be deterred by that. I know I was for a while. However, I have seen how much more efficient crypto can make things. The people that say there is no liquidity, that the price is only going up because of hoarding, are only saying that because they are not using it. I am using it. I know many businesses using it.

Thank you for at least attempting it for us. I completely understand how frustrating it can be starting out. It's going to get easier as time goes on. Once you have an authorized Coinbase account, buying ETH and using it to pay for things gets a lot simpler. It's just getting to that point that can be a pain in the ass. I'd suggest using ETH for now, and using the blockchain.info wallet on your phone to store it. Then you can just scan the QR code whenever you want to pay for things at checkout.
