When will your Rhodiola Rosea 3% Salidrosides be back in stock?

I cannot give you a firm date yet. We are working very diligently on it, though. There have been a lot of supply issues in China, due to the government there shutting down hundreds of suppliers. So it is creating a supply issue, and some suppliers are turning to misbranding things to keep up. That's what happened with our resupply shipment. After testing it in the lab, it was found to not be Rhodiola rosea, but was actually Rhodiola crenulata. That is a different species, and contains no rosavins. So we rejected the batch, and are trying to source real Rhodiola rosea now.

The thing with Rhodiola crenulata is that it is cheaper, so some less scrupulous suppliers just relabel it Rhodiola rosea. It also does contain salidrosides. So HPLC testing will pass if that is all that you are looking for. However, it will contain no rosavins. So you will see the lack of a peak there on the HPLC. Also, we HP-TLC test all our natural extracts, which can pinpoint the exact species and plant part used in an extract. That's extra confirmation you are getting the exact extract you are supposed to.

Possible Fake?

Always make sure it says "sold by Nootropics Depot" when buying from us on Amazon. We have brand protection on there, which is supposed to prevent hijacking of our listings. However, they seem to have found a way around

Whoever left the review calling Rhodiola Crenulata "nap in a bottle"...

See, this is why I try to explain that we are all so different. For the average person, the crenulata is stimulating. However, some people have paradoxical reactions to things.

So which products are getting the axe?

Replying to anexanhume · Rhodiola Rosea is now endangered, so unless ND changes to a synthesized version like NNB is doing, it may go away.

We are actually working with a company that is cell culturing plants in vats, and Rhodiola is one of them. We think that is the future, if they can bring costs down.

Salidrosol Solution vs. Crenulata Powder: Is there a functional difference between the two?

Plant extracts always have more in them than just the main standardized actives. Crenulata is a pretty cool one that gets overshadowed by the rosea species. I think sometimes it gets a bad name because at lot of dishones
