What shipping method is recommended

A bullshit situation with UPS next day prompts me to ask what the best shipping method to use is, since it's certainly not the most expensive one. I think I've had 3 or 4 orders that went well in the past, but my user account was deleted so I can't check out which shipping method I used then.

Apparently it was just delivered so they only ended up delaying one day, due to 'mechanical failure'. But they adjusted the estimate to Wednesday and that was what rustled my jimmies.

Mechanical failures are rare, but do happen. I understand the jimmy rustling, though.
