Does Maltodextrin (filler, starch) break Intermittent Fasting? Question for Rhonda and Nootropicsdepot

Intermittent Fasting as suggested by Dr. Rhonda Patrick, suggests to stop eating around 8 hrs before sleep and not consume any calories, including teas and other plants, then break fast immediately after waking up, presumably after 8 hours of sleep, then eat for 8 hrs.
I have a dilemma, Melatonin sold by Nootropicsdepot use Maltodextrin as a filler, although it's in small amounts, I presume this breaks the fast? It also has to be taken near night time, obviously.
Is there other Melatonin supplements w/o fillers which have calories, which are these fillers?

It's such a small amount that it will not have any effect on fasting.
