should mushroom extracts be taken on an empty stomach(other than what you mix with) or with a meal? or do we not really know? are the beta glucans more bioavailable if combined with anything else, like lipids or something?

i know this is technically a competitor, but what is your feeling on their take on dosages? https://oriveda.wordpress.com/medicinal-mushrooms-how-much-should-i-take/

I usually mix them in V8 or almond milk.

Oriveda is using science-based marketing (using hard verifiable facts only), but we are the only ones.

Just close the window right there... They are the ONLY ONES using science-based marketing? Hahahahaha

Their take on dosages has some merit behind it, but it is still positioned from a marketing perspective in their favor. We've settled on 1 grams dosages for most mushrooms as a standard, but some people adjust up/down from there after they figure out how they react. The main one being Cordyceps. Many people need less than 1 gram, and find that higher dosages can be too much for them. I'll actually use 500mg of our 1:1, and only 250mg of our 10:1.

Why cordyceps from Nootropic Depot looks different?

Our 10:1 Cordyceps extract has no carriers, and is very hygroscopic. It pulls moisture from the air like crazy. It's pretty much at the upper limit for how much you can concentrate Cordyceps. So that's what you are seein
