I believe I read a comment by resident Semax expert MYASD a while ago that BDNF and NGF will increase the speed by which certain cancers metastasize but will not cause it outright.
Paging /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb can you elucidate this fact and Semax's role in it?

It was a October 2015. I may have talked about it since then as well.
FYI: easy way to find things I have said in the past is to use the qualifiers on a Google search. So this one would be "cancer BDNF MisterYouAreSoDumb site:reddit.com"
That would give you a search result for all the things with my username, and the words "BDNF" and "cancer," on Reddit. Sometimes I need to refine some of the search terms, but it works pretty well. I've said a lot of things on here. Haha
