Tried using https://xcoins.io/ --> What a laughable FARCE and RIPOFF.

Just tried to use https://xcoins.io/. Signing up was easy. My Ceretropic order was $63.00. BUT... in order to buy $63.00 in Bitcoins from XCoins, these were the charges:
$63 for the Bitcoins;
$9.40 "Lender's Fee";
$4.70 "Loan Origination Fee";
$2.60 "PayPal Fee";
for a total of $79.70!!! No Shit. I'm not kidding. Also, there's this:
"IMPORTANT: first-time borrowers will need to upload a photo ID after the payment, before the transaction is approved. The name on the photo ID must be the name of the person, who made the payment." --> No instructions were provided on how to do this.
WILL YOU PLEASE MAKE YOUR METHYLENE BLUE PRODUCTS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE WITH A MONEY ORDER? CoinBase requires:
1) If you have not already done so, you will be required to complete a photo ID verification. (How is this done?); and;
2) Accept the prompt explaining the 2 pending charges we'll make to your card.
Meaning they charge you twice, i.e.: they charge your card, AND THEN they put an additional hold on your card in the same amount for an undetermined amount of time (read weeks.)
Forget it.
Ceretropic needs to begin accepting money orders, and MisterYouAreSoDumb you are being utterly re-dick-u-lous about this.

Yes, the US government has unfortunately made it very hard for financial institutions in the US. Coinbase is in the US, and must follow the law regarding getting ID verification and things like that. You just need to upload a scan of your ID to them, and they review it.
The pending charges are very small, like a few cents. Everyone does this to verify bank accounts and cards. They do two small charges for specific amounts, say .02 and .16, then ask you to look on your statement and tell them the exact amount. If you say the correct amounts, they verify you are the owner of that account. It's pretty standard with banks in the US.
I am sorry you are frustrated and think I am being ridiculous. I did not ask to have our whole financial system come down on us. This is entirely on the previous US administration, with their shitty financial regulations, and their borderline criminal "Operation Choke Point." They have made a mess of our financial regulations, and it's killing businesses. I can almost guarantee I will shut Ceretropic down at some point. It's only a matter of time before I decide it's just not worth the time and stress anymore.
