Vendor product quality - how times change.

My first nootropics purchases was made through Nootropics depot back in October 2014. I was quite happy with the quality of the products, though I came across PowderCity a month or two later and ended up switching over due to the great selection. I have been taking Tianeptine and Adrafinil and a number of other nootropics for some time and have noticed the potency/quality from PowderCity drop over the last year.
The effects from some of my main compounds slowly decreased and didn't return even after a lengthy break which I can only attribute to potency as I gave myself ample time (two months) for tolerances to return to normal.
It's unfortunate as for years PowderCity has been my number one source.
Their recent split left me looking for a source that offered my normal stack from one website which led me back to Nootropics Depot. I am amazed at the quality of products from them (and I would assume Ceretropics). All the beneficial effects I was getting from my stack that had been lost over time with Powder City products returned to my surprise as I had assumed that I had a permanent tolerance to a number of nootropics.
I would definitely recommend checking them…

While I do not want to discount your experience, as it makes us look good, we get people saying the opposite sometimes as well. Some people swear up and down our stuff is less effective than Powder City's. In some cases I actually get some from Powder City, test it, then send the customer complaining unmarked samples of both. They almost never respond to me after that. I test things from Powder City regularly, and treat every claim seriously. Their product never comes back impure, though.
A lot goes into people's perceived effects from nootropics. There is certain variability in effects from different syntheses that we cannot really explain. The main one I point to is Adrafinil. There are two known synthesis methods that lead to two different end products. Both test pure, have the same FTIR spectrum, same melting point, and same pH in solution. However, there is a marked difference in subjective effects between them from person to person. I can't explain it yet, but I know the variability in effects exist; as there are just too many people reporting it to have it be coincidence. Some react better to one, while other people react better to the other. Both are legitimate Adrafinil that test pure. It's just there is some variable we cannot figure out that affects efficacy for certain people.
I am glad you are reacting well to our products! I just don't want to make people think it's because Powder City is selling less pure stuff, or that everyone feels the same as you. There is variability in effects from different synthesis methods, and some people may prefer PC's product to ours. There is a lot of hyperbole in some people's reports lately. Some people swear up and down that a previous lot of our product worked amazingly, while the new lot doesn't work at all. Yet when I go through our production logs, both lots were made from the same bulk raw material batch. We also sometimes get people saying X is completely fake, when it's certainly not fake, and has been tested multiple times. We take a lot of pride in our quality control and testing. So I can get a bit upset when we get less than stellar reports, as I am sure Powder City does as well. In any event, I am glad you are happy with our products!
