This batch was slightly different on the FTIR. So we want to figure out why that is. If it had matched completely, then we would be less suspicious. However, I think it has an impurity left over, and we cannot quantify that till we get our HPLC methods working. We could send it off to Colmeric again, and get a % number back. However, that does not help us in assessing what the impurity might be, or help us to be able to internally quantify batches going forward. We also cannot really go back to the lab that synthesized it, and make them fix the batch, till we have verification of the % impurity left over.
