This is not specifically nootropic related, but I think it belongs as most EpiCor/nutritional yeast supplements are discussed here.
In any case, I recently ordered EpiCor capsules from NootropicsDepot and they arrived last Thursday. I took one capsule in the evening after dinner and another before going to bed. Woke up the next morning with a massive headache; didn't think too much of it and took another capsule during breakfast. By the afternoon, in addition to the painful headache, I noticed that my joints were extremely stiff (especially my neck - I normally experience some degree of neck pain, but this was worse). By end of day, I started getting the chills in addition to the headache and joint stiffness/pain. I ended up sleeping for eight hours and all symptoms disappeared and I've been fine since.
I've scaled my dosage back to the recommended one capsule a day (500mg) and I've been fine. Could EpiCor have caused the discomfort that I experienced? I think I took too much to start, but I was hoping that a higher dose for the first few days would better help with some residual (minor) cold/sinus issues that I've been experiencing for the past two months. Any thoughts? This…

I just want to thank you for bringing light to EpiCor for me (via. your India story). I haven't been sick in 8 months, although I don't get sick too often. My mother on the other hand was getting sick ~1-2 times a month and hasn't been sick in 8 months since she has started taking it. I am completely sold on this stuff.

Hell yeah! Glad it worked out for you both. It's completely changed my immunity for the better, that's for sure.
