Is there any reason it would not be safe to take noopept with N-Acetyl-Semax-Amidate?

Good point. I was just trying to look for a way to mitigate trkb down regulation from noopept and figured that taking a substance that worked to upregulate trkb and also boosted bndf would be beneficial. I guess there's even a question though if n acetyl semax amidate even works the same way as semax.

I guess more of what I was asking was if others had a similar inclination and attempted this combination. Anecdotes may not have scientific merit per say, but how you feel while on the combo (e.g. shortness of breath, palpitations, mania, etc) may provide an indication of the risk of attempting it.

The amide group on the C-terminus of Semax is not going to alter the way it works. It's only going to protect it from enzymatic degradation, and make it pass the blood brain barrier better. It's not like adding another functional group. It's just protecting the C-terminus, and making the peptide less polar, consequently making it more permeable to the BBB. If we were adding in other amino acids to the sequence, then an argument could be made that the action of the peptide might be different. However, acetylation and amidation are very common modifications to peptides, to make them act more like endogenous peptides/hormones. Most of your body's natural endogenous peptides it uses are always amidated. You are not really going to see open hydroxyl groups on the C-terminus like you do synthetic peptides. So if anything, the N-Acetyl Semax Amidate is more like your body's endogenous peptides than regular Semax.

But yes, there are no direct studies on N-Acetyl Semax Amidate. So we can only speculate on the changes based on what we know of peptides in general.

No!!!! You can't just say, "Ohh, the active sequence in P21 is DGGL, so let's just sell powdered DGGL!" Pharmacodynamics do not work like that! That would be like saying, "Ohh dopamine is good. Let's sell powdered dopami
