From 194 to 257 dollars overnight for 50gram tubs. Being a gold member isn't going to help this much. Who has the best deal on bulk amounts of tianeptine sodium as of now?

I really think it is pretty outrageous to compare piracetam and tianeptine. Isocrhoma is one guy who knowingly went too far, and even going that far he still did not get high. Real nootropics can't get you high. Real nootropics aren't addictive. Real nootropics don't have withdrawl. Tianeptine is known to be highly addictive, known to have extremely dangerous withdrawl, and known to get people seeking opiate-like experiences high. The guys into opiates wonder how it is legal, and they know whats up: https://www.reddit.com/r/opiates/comments/3lc75m/tianeptine_how_is_this_still_legal
You can sell it if you so please, and if you really are helping people, who am I to stop you. I only ask that you stop allowing its discussion to take place on this forum. Tianeptine has it's own subreddit and many support subreddits for those who are depressed. This is not the place for it and its inclusion in this forum causes a great risk to actual nootropics. This is a seriously big risk coming from someone who seems to care so much when people want to get press and other things. How long until the press descends on here due to a story of tianeptine overdose/death/withdrawl, and you/we cannot deny it because you discuss it and openly sell it on here.

My point was that anything can be abused or treated irresponsibly. Taking Tianeptine at therapeutic levels is not addictive, nor does it get you high. You have to take absurd amounts of it to reach anything close to a real opioid. Just because some people choose to abuse it, does not mean we should disallow responsible discussions regarding it.
We already remove posts talking about using Tianeptine recreationally or irresponsibly. You just don't see them. We also send a lot of new posts to /r/depressionregimens. Again, you don't see all that moderation happening in the background. Discussing responsible use of Tianeptine, or interesting mechanisms regarding it, should be allowed. We also sometimes allow posts warning other users about misusing it, so that people can see that information, and use it to make informed decisions for themselves. Restricting discussions even more than we are is not going to help anyone.
I get that you want /r/Nootropics to be a very specific way that you see it in your head. I get that you want to defend the subreddit from what you perceive as threats. I get that you want only "real nootropic" discussions happening. However, there is no such thing as a "real nootropic." I gave up that fight long ago. Words change and take on new meanings. Even if we use the original strict Corneliu Giurgea definition, Tianeptine would still fit in it. It is a compound that enhances human cognition, while being neuroprotective or extremely nontoxic. Can you take 100-1,000 times the dosage and have issues? Yeah, you can do that with a lot of things. Imagine taking 100-1,000 times the dosage of Pramiracetam or Centrophenoxine. You would be messed up. Imagine IVing them at high dosages like some have reported. It would be insane. That does not mean they are not nootropic at normal dosages.
What you are asking is to remove all responsible discussion from here regarding it, just because some people choose to abuse it. Then new users will have even less information regarding it, and make even more poor decisions because of that. It will also lead to less people with legitimate depression being able to find out about it or discuss it. That's not an ideal solution in my opinion.
