Not to get too weird but perhaps there is an issue you have with your gf. Something you are unhappy but don't want to deal with. I've had this kind of issue.
But also being heavily stimulated or high dopamine seems to lead to that kind of behavior inevitably. It has pros and cons. I feel more intelligent in those phases but I go thru waves of realizations, including realizing I was being hysterically certain about some conclusion. High dopamine appears to make our judgement appear more true often.
It's interesting. Sometimes we can have so little control over our behavior and lives. We are just watching from above, convinced of our autonomy.
I think if we were autonomous, drugs would not be as useful as they are. They are such a powerful environmental stimuli. But even getting our behavior to control drug choices is difficult. We are not in control :).
Sorry I'm not even sure why I wrote about this! Hahaha.

No, trust me, I want to work less. However, when I do that, things pile up. When I come back to work, things are even more crazy than before. It's just the nature of running a startup company. It's a lot of long days and hard work. The research aspect is my doing. I am just curious about everything, and always want to learn. I have always been that way. Sometimes I just have to force myself to let things go.
