Curcumin: Longvida or Bioperine?

I keep seeing multiple things about which ingredient you should be taking with your curcumin. Longvida crosses the BBB, whereas bioperine (black pepper derivative) increases the solubility of curcumin by ~500%. Any recommendations on which to go for? Thanks!

Piperine helps curcumin absorb through the GI tract. However, it does not help it reach the brain. So it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for improved peripheral joint pain and things like that, regular curcumin with piperine is fine. If you are looking for brain health, Longvida is the only one scientifically proven to pass the blood brain barrier.
