Yes, the mice with BDNF over expression. Perhaps, though I'm REALLY going out on a limb here, it might be behind the brain volume loss from Valproic acid. I'd love to do research on it when I can.

It could very well be linked to the p75 neurotrophic receptor. Activation of that receptor can signal for a cell to undergo apoptosis.
