Hi, <U.S Network, tv show> wants to follow someone experimenting with nootropics and/or cognitive enhancement methods to elevate their brain. Are you about to test an experiment or do you have a deadline approaching and you want to be at your best? If you are interested please email me ASAP. <production company email> Thanks.
Now asdie from the usual warnings i gave that came true when auntie from the BBC came to visit this sub look at the wording:
Are you about to test an experiment or do you have a deadline approaching and you want to be at your best?
Now which nootropics provide any real instant effects? Phenylpiracetam does, some would argue noopept but most require weeks.
Now which substances give some effect instantly? Modifinal and Ritalin. Given this network I would look more at Ritalin as the likely one they want to "Investigate". I would advise people to not speak to the media, there have been several hatchet jobs over the years and one in the last month.
This is the reply I made to the BBC, I was later proven right. Rem…

They can do one one me:
* Here is /u/NotHyplon dealing with his own business stuff before his main job
* Now follow him into the City of London to meet with senior Bank IT
* Now watch as they put roadblock after roadblock in front of a project whilst blaming the project is late
* Now watch as he explains to sales for the 50th time why something cannot be done because of lack of software\hardware etc. I actually have used "You cannot change the rules of physics" non sarcastically because of the things they wanted to do with radio once
* Watch as he then has to explain to the bank why sales messed up by selling such physics bending gear before it exists.
* Watch as sales blame him for all that is wrong, then explode when he suggests they change the order (meh commisions)
* Follow him dumping modifinal for a 4am call when the POS legacy unsupported hardware he has been telling the customer to get rid of finally craps the bed. Bonus the kit is so old the EU won't let you import a replacement because of lead based solder used.
* Finally watch as he attends so many conference calls his mind turns to jelly so he wanders places like reddit or does actual work on a different machine.
Yeah us/r/nootropics crowd that are not students must make the best film subjects. Can I come join the Ceretropic workforce\personality cult\ nootropics militia?

Ohh man, that sounds like when I was in telecommunications. I would sit in meetings with CTOs, CFOs, and CEOs, and tell them why their statements about "VOIP" and "The Cloud" had no substance, and they were just repeating buzzwords from Cisco commercials. I've had network technicians tell me that subnet masks do not matter, and even had people ask me if the IP address was necessary on an IP phone. It's literally in the fucking name of the phone! Yeah, you probably need it. Luckily I was always a consultant on jobs, so I could say what I wanted, and not have to deal with office politics. I would just say: "You are paying me a lot of money to ensure this system does what you want. Let me do that for you, because you'll just have to pay me more if you don't listen to me."
I deal with other stupid shit now, but at least I am not in pointless meetings all the time, talking about useless buzzwords for no reason. Haha
