L-theanine feels too good. Am I missing something?

Let's brainstorm potential drawbacks. I've been taking it everyday for a couple weeks and it feels like DRUGS. In a good way. But it's setting off those "no such thing as a free lunch" alarms in my mind.
EDIT: Lots of comments, not exactly what I was going for but it has been pointed out that discussing L-theanine does, to a certain extent, represent a conflict of interest as Doubleblinded, Inc. currently sells a kit for individual testing of L-theanine. So I'll shut up about L-theanine for the time being! Please take my observation as a anecdotal, spurious, non-quantitative and completely subjective data point. I'll rejoin the L-theanine talk in a few weeks.

I suppose you are correct, this post could potentially bias the results for individuals who read it. INDIVIDUALS WHO READ THIS, DONT BE BIASED. And I guess I should blind myself... I'm just too busy blinding everyone else (: ...and grading student papers... ):

Do as I say, not as I do. ;-)
I do think your Double Blinded concept could be a good idea. However, the devil is in the details. I am curious to see how many people are willing to pay for a service like that, and the results you ultimately gather. It's going to be hard to control for selection bias with your model. I suppose as long as you bill it as a service for the individuals, rather than a scientific way to study a specific compound, then it won't matter.
