Dropper lines gone?

I have some ceretropic sublingual L-theanine and I love the stuff, but the measurement lines have slowly been dissapearing. The lines above the liquid level look like new, but anything that was submerged in the liquid in the bottle is, at this point, competely gone. If I hold the dropper up to the light I can see feint marks on the glass and guess where the lines are.
Has anybody else had this problem? Is there anything I can safely re-mark the lines with?

We've already fixed the issue with the manufacturer. They had to use high-temperature application of a different ink. The marks are not as dark now, but will not wear off. I can send you one of the new droppers if you would like.
