Phenylethylidenehydrazine (PEH), also known as 2-phenylethylhydrazone, is an inhibitor of the enzyme GABA transaminase (GABA-T).[1][2] It is a metabolite of the antidepressant phenelzine and is responsible for its elevation of GABA concentrations.[1] PEH likely plays a significant role in phenelzine's high efficacy in treating anxiety disorders. Would be fantastic to have this compound available, it could help so many people with anxiety, specially social anxiety.

EDIT: is a joke, the noots themselves are totally safe. We don't need to worry about the hydrazine used in the synthesis process.

Yeah, most of the syntheses that use hydrazine seem to be a lot harder to scale up. It's always funny getting on Skype, and having one of our supplier say "Sorry, there is a delay. There was an explosion in the lab." Haha
