Any new wakefulness products?

Hi - once I got on Nuvigil (thank God for insurance that basically pays for all it) I stopped looking at the different modafinil and armodafinil vendors.
But I also stopped looking at the local US companies looking to try non-prescription versions. Ceretropic is always at the forefront of this stuff. Anything new out there for us sleepy people? Thanks!

But it has other effects in addition to increasing dopamine.
If it was simply about increasing dopamine there's other options, but less affinity for DAT doesn't necessarily mean less effective at promoting wakefulness which is modafinil's main therapeutic purpose. My interest is something that will have the same effect for me, i.e wakefulness, without the loooooong half-life.

Right, I am just explaining why drug companies have not gone after it. Cephalon already has Nuvigil, which is R-Modafinil. Coming out with S-modafinil would kind of negate their statements about the R enantiomer being superior. Also, they were bought by Teva Pharmaceuticals, which is a large pharma company that is striking deals for generic distribution in Europe. So they are not exactly looking to bring out another enantiomer at the moment.
