[Meta] Moderation in /r/nootropics

There is quite a bit of shadowbanning going on here and there have been external accusations that the moderation is abusing its power to silence critical voices of vendors who aren't Ceretropic or consumers critical of noots vendors and the emerging industry.
Can we have a discussion about this?
Edit: I am not implying MYASD has something to do with this, or that there is systematic bias inherent in the moderation staff that favors only Ceretropic. Just inquiring why some posts and comments have disappeared.

Please see my other replies for examples. Links and screencaps included. Not saying there is an evil intent behind the moderation, but I am definitely wary and surprised that my posts and other posts were filtered.

Hey DesignerCat, I think you are getting a little too much flak. Your confusion is warranted, based on your knowledge of the situation. I think people just took issue with the fact that you mentioned accusations that the deletions/bans might have something to do with me. If you could point me in the direction of said posts, I would gladly address them on whatever site they are being made on. I have nothing to hide, and always operate in an open and ethical manner. I am about as open of a book as they come.
The issue here is that Mind Difference has been caught making fake accounts to review themselves, and have been paying other people to make Reddit accounts, and post about them. Both those actions are not only dishonest, but are against our rules. You cannot make alternate account to post reviews of yourself, and you cannot offer to pay people to make reviews here. So even though an account has a history of posting on Reddit, that does not mean it is legit. Even so, I have not personally moderated any post or comment relating to them. I just stay out of it, and let the other mods deal with that specific issue. There are detailed moderation logs that every mod can see. If I was being dishonest, there would be records of it.
When vendors break the rules, actions are taken. It has absolutely nothing to do with me personally, or with Ceretropic. It's not even something that comes up in the other mod's minds. We have a lot more information behind that scenes that is used to make moderation decisions. Much of that is not made public, because it contains personal information about people, or would clue people into ways to try and game the system. When vendors are caught breaking the rules, they lash out saying it is because of me. That is just them being childish, because they were caught not being able to be successful operating an honest business. It's pretty damn simple for vendors: Produce products that people want, with safety/purity processes in place to protect your customers, and don't make fake/paid reviews. Run an honest and ethical business, and everyone will welcome you; myself included.
