TL;DR: Nootropic stimulants are the bomb.
Hello /r/nootropics! I started lurking here and experimenting with noots a couple months ago, but this is the first time I have experienced something worth sharing.
On Saturday night I was out with friends until 4:30AM, and slept in until 2:30PM. This completely wrecked my sleep cycle for Sunday night, which was problematic because I had an 8AM calculus exam this morning. Due to a combination of dorm noise, test anxiety, and my off-kilter sleep rhythm, I got a grand total of ~45 minutes of sleep last night -not even studying, just tossing and turning with increasing frustration. I don't have much experience with all-nighters, so I was freaking out about failing my exam. When the sun rose, I knew noots were my last hope to maintain a 4.0.
My morning stack usually consists of 100mg modafinil, 50mg of caffeine, and 200mcg Semax intranasal on the stimulant side (normally my comfortable limit), rounded off with 800mg aniracetam, 500mg ashwagandha 2.5%, 200mg theanine and 2g omega-3s. Today, out of delirious desperation I went for broke with only stimulants, upping my dose to a whopping (for me) 400mg moda, 200mg caffeine, 400mcg semax and 4…

/u/MisterYouAreSoDumb claimed that mixing the *afinils with alcohol was a bad idea, presumably due to liver metabolism.
I once mixed armodafinil+memantine+alcohol and I blacked out. Did not remember how the night ended. Could only guess based on circumstantial evidence. The afinils are not very recreational in my opinion. You might want to look into 4-FA or 3-FPM.

Yeah, that is a very well known effect. People write me all the time saying they mixed Adrafinil and alcohol, and blacked out. It's no good.
