Is it normal that caffeine makes me more "Forward Thinking" / "Longterm Goal oriented"?

Original post in this thread

Without caffeine I'm very spontaneous and in the moment. I want to do what makes me feel good right now. With caffeine, I'm driven and focused on the future, and I want to do will make me feel good weeks/months from now.

Is this a normal reaction to caffeine? Should I try any other substances to get a similar effect? I feel like a better person when I think more long term - more capable and driven.

Urgh. A lot of that rings true from my recreational drug use, but I was hoping it didn't apply to Nootropics also. The whole reason I'm trialing racetams and Tianeptine is for it to hopefully provide a sustainable boost. Fuck me.

It doesn't apply. That was just a borderline offensive rant, with no scientific substance behind it. Everything is fuel? Energy is energy? So dumb.

Been playing with a melting point apparatus, so far I've been testing and calibrating a lot, but I've tested caffeine, aniracetam, and tianeptine.

Replying to meeeeoooowy · The label has CAS 66981-73-5, but I'm assuming that's a mistake.

Yep, that's my fault. I was rushed printing the little labels when things being finalized, and did not catch it till they were already all done. It's Tianeptine Sodium CAS: 30123-17-2. You need to do the melting point fo

Ceretropic Review (Noopept and L-Theanine/Caffeine)

Replying to Night_Ombudsman · Similar experience here but without the mail hangups. That coluracetam was hella nacreous. When can we expect tianeptine to be available?

Nacreous? That's a rarely used word. Did you like the coluracetam? The tianeptine should be out in the next week or two. I just need to get the labels printed.

5 days of 3 x 1.6g piracetam use. Still no effect?

Replying to jrhsk8 · Mood isn't my only objective. I'm just looking to find something that I like taking, and I have uses for anything that boosts mood or cognition. Both are 'important' to me. Tianept

Then I would go the route people are suggesting. Move to aniracetam next. Then you can try oxiracetam and pramiracetam after. You'll feel those a lot more than the piracetam. Then you can branch out from there if you wan

physiological opiate tolerance & dependence on Tianeptine?

Replying to cosmicrush · I use tianeptine in doses around 45mg and I also use other opiates at low doses. I notice that low doses of opiates have some strong dopamine effects and can get me chatty and thin

I think recently a lot of people keep focusing on the opioid affinities, and are ignoring all the other mechanisms that make Tianeptine unique. The beauty of Tianeptine is the fact that it can work so well at low therape

Questions about polygala

Replying to RSGC9 · Hope op doesn't mind me chiming in on his thread since I have some questions too. I recently quit caffeine for about 3 months after battling addiction for around 8 years. Quitting

Glad to hear it is working so well. So polygala has a ton of things in it, and they all work together. So the mechanisms are complex. It's hard to say exactly which mechanism is helping most for you. However, I would ima
