Fucoxanthin

Partly nootropic, very antioxidant, fat burning, what's the deal with fucoxanthin?
Recommended dose is 8-32mg (of 25% extract). However at it's super low price, is it okay to take 50mg+ doses? Is that just healthier or does it ever have side effects? From what I understand, it accumulates in the body (needs to accumulate to work) but is there a "too much"?

Too much of an antioxidant will cause oxidation from what I've read.

It depends entirely on the specific antioxidant.
