Nootropics and active duty military

A friend of mine has been very interested in nootropics, especially racetams, and increasingly so after I've told him about my recent enjoyment of them. But for the majority of his interest he has been active duty military, and he has said he has no interest in taking them and jeopardizing his future (a fair concern). I've told him that I believe racetams would have to be specifically tested for, and I figured even if they were, the body would likely excrete them pretty quick. But the fact that substances like phenylpiracetam are banned sports substances, it makes me curious. What do you all think about the risk of nootropics and being drug tested in the military?

We ship to APO addresses for active military all the time. We have not had issues in that regard. And I highly doubt any of the nootropics would be tested for by the military.
