Memantine

I've been using 10mg/day memantine after tirating up the dose. For a while it seemed really good. It seemed to have a nice anxiolytic and mind clearing effect. However after taking it for a few days at 10mg I've come down with debilitating brain fog. Since the half life is 60-100 hours, I'm wondering if taking 10mg every 24 hours could have had a compounding effect, causing it to build in my system. Has anyone else experienced something similar to this?

Yes, it for sure has a compounding effect. I recommend at least 2 weeks to get up to a 10mg dosage. You are getting the brain fog from the NACh antagonism. I would lower your dosage for a bit. The 80 hour half life means things build up quickly.
