Is there any way to test the contents of caplets using household materials?

I've been taking sulbutiamine and centrophenoxine from Absorb Health for a few weeks, but I haven't noticed the dramatic effects most users mentioned. Of course, results will vary, but the main thing that made me suspicious was the fact that both of them are just white powder, so they could be practically anything.
I've read somewhere that putting centro. under your tongue produces an acute burning sensation, so perhaps that might be a sign. Has anyone tried this? If not, I'll try tonight with a small amount and see what happens. But that still leave the sulb. untested.

I was going to suggest filling his bath tub with bleach and hydrochloric acid, and throwing the capsules into it. Then just see what happens!
