Tips for beating the taste of Maca?

Original post in this thread

[deleted] · 1 points

Recently started taking around 3g of organic raw Maca Powder daily. Enjoying its effects and have had none of the gastrointestinal issues that I've been warned about.

That said- the taste is becoming nearly intolerable. I've tried everything from mixing it with peanut butter, to brewing a hot chocolate-like drink (a traditional preparation?), to trying to choke down little pinches of raw powder. I feel like the amount is too big to practically and economically pack into gel caps. Anybody have any tips?

I know you had mentioned adding maca compounds to the line of Ceretropic "super naturals"... Any word on how that might taste?

Certainly better than maca powder. We are going to do something similar to our Super Rhodiola. I have identified the two most active compounds in maca root, and am trying to get those synthesized pure. Then it should have very little taste, since the dosages are going to be much much lower.

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

We renamed it Salidrosol, and moved it over to Natrium Health. Ceretropic is no more, unfortunately. We shut that down earlier this year. It's the same formula, though. We just renamed it for legal reasons. The idea beh
