Semax and Selank make me depressed until i eat something

Hi Guys,
i got some 1% Semax and 0,1% Selank a few days ago from a legit source intranasal. I noticed that i´m pretty depressed after taking it, but i get a mild euphoria as soon as i ingest something with carbohydrates. I´m not into brain chemistry, maybe one of the guys that do are, can tell me why this is so.

Very possible, thanks for your answer. I have a 1% Solution, i´ve taken 2 drops, one in each nostril. Don´t know how much that´d be, but i really feel pretty depressed and irritated. I have 0,1% in the mail.
maybe it was just an overdose.

1% solution is 500mcg per drop. .1% solution is 50mcg per drop.
