Acquiring B-12 vials for injection.

Does anyone know if B-12 vials are legally obtained over the counter at pharmacies in the states? I don't see why you'd need a prescription for them as tablets are certainly legal. It's just a different route of administration. If they're not, does anyone know a good source for them?

oral is probably the worst way to take it. Very poor bio-availability.

High oral doses of B12 (1000 mcg and 2000 mcg) were as effective as intramuscular administration in achieving haematological and neurological responses.
