Prefrontal Cortex Atrophy Reversal

Would anyone here know of any nootropic that reverses age-related thinning of the prefrontal cortex?
For the hippocampus we have NSI-189, I was wondering if there was anything like it for the cortex.
I've read that antipsychotics increase cortical density (via glial cell proliferation) in vivo (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10418690) but the side-effects are probably not what someone normal is willing to tolerate.

Since the recommended dose is about 20mg-40mg a day, are people basically not getting anything other than placebo? I once took about 7 20mg pills at once and I think I felt pretty good but I felt I needed to pee... a lot.

I find the ideal dosage is 10mg sublingually, once or twice per day. You can take it orally, but you have to increase the dosage a lot. Also, then it seems to be more variable in effects.
