There are both moderators and users of this subreddit that are involved in the sale of nootropics. It's not a bad thing though.
Most people affiliated with vendors, don't excessively post about noots they are selling, they don't pull things out of proportion and they don't write meaningless rave reviews. They don't sugarcoat a nootropic with marketing ~~tactic~~ garbage. And at the same time, they don't lie and add a disclaimer saying not for human consumption to everything they say. Most of the vendors don't claim their products are better than others either.
/u/MisterYouAreSoDumb Ceretropic (co?)-owner is a prime example. His posts are always interesting, and apparently loves what he does. He does not let the fact that he has a business get in the way of the content of his posts.
