Amphetamine and dopamine receptors

Original post in this thread

Hello guys I've tried google and searching and I couldn't find anything. I take adderall, a lot. And I know that it can wear down your receptors over time and eventually make them stop functioning properly. Does any body know how much time it takes for them to regenerate? To keep things simple lets say that I take 60mg a day, for about 6 months. (I don't just a example.) how long would that take for my brain to get back to baseline? Thanks ahade of time.

Thanks for the quick response, solid advice too. Another thing I'm looking into with regards to Amphetamine tolerance is CDP-Choline and Sodium Butyrate, do you have any advice regarding these specific supplements? Also I know you mentioned it in the MDMA Supplementation thread but have you reconsidered writing an Amphetamine Supplementation post?

CDP is good. It gives me depression in larger doses, so be aware of that. It might not happen to you, but is a common occurrence.

I am not familiar with sodium butyrate. What would you be using it for?

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

Why has Cognizin's Citicoline raised in price?

Prices for almost everything have gone up. A lot of that are the tariffs and shipping/freight increases. There's a 25% across the board tariff for all shipments from China. Then certain HS codes have an additional tariff

It's a really cool one! Kirin and Kiowa came to our facility a while back to give us a presentation and show us all the research. This was even before COVID was a thing. Their research is really really good! We have a go

ALCAR not recommended anymore!

Alright, I've read through this study, and there are some important things we need to discuss before everyone panics about TMAO and throws their ALCAR in the trash. The first is the TMAO causation problem. Let's be very
