apart from adrafanil/modafanil, what nootropic stimulants do you find effective?

Phenylpiracetam has always given me a noticeable boost in energy, coluracetam as well. What are your experiences?

When I first found maca I remember seeing in an article high doses caused a guy intense stomach pains, and he fixed it by lowering the dose.
I also heard on a podcast you have to boil raw maca to avoid some nasty stuff with it. I've taken gelatinized for 6-7months now with no issues.
I hope I don't develop the same thing because maca completely restores my broken sexual function/lack of labido.

The issue is now I cannot have any at all. I think I acquired either a sensitivity to it, or an allergy. It worked great for the 2-3 weeks that I was able to use it.
I might be able to take it again by slowly reintroducing it. However, I am too afraid to even touch it now. The stomach pains were some of the worst I have ever felt. I would rather be asexual than feel that pain again, and that is saying something! I don't really have any issues right now in that department. It was more just my energy levels that needed help. I am going a different route at the moment for energy, so I don't see a point in risking it. Plus, if I were to take it again and get issues, my family and friends would call me an idiot. Haha
