Alpha Brain/Huperzine choline downregulation?

Alpha Brain causes dreams, I have read that it does this because it contains Alpha-GPC and huperzine A, which would make sense since Galantamine + Choline is a known lucid dream aid. People seem okay with people taking Alpha Brain, but whenever I look into threads on Huperzine on its own people are very cautious and warn against choline downregulation.
I want better dreams and I own a lot of Alpha-GPC, I am just wondering if it would be dangerous for me to occasionally take a cap of Huperzine. Galantamine is a fairly extreme method in terms of the potential sleep paralysis and Alpha Brain never gave me anything like that.

No. Taking it occasionally would have no more risk than taking Galantamine
Huperzine A is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (preventing acetylcholine breakdown), but it also acts as an NMDA antagonist at the MK-801 site (same as PCP). This is why taking Hup. A daily would have negative effects.
Interestingly enough, anecdotally NMDA antagonists give me some wild dreams, especially memantine and MXE.

I can confirm. Memantine has been giving me some crazy vivid dreams. Weird thing is, they are more emotional than usual. I have woken up very sad a couple times because something sad happened in my dream. That never happens with me.
