I think deleting the post was the right call since it obviously wont stem anything useful other than to serve as a warning that it won't yield any benefits, and could actually be harmful. That being said if a curious individual googles "injecting piracetam" there is a shortage (shortage, not nonexistence) of actual forum posts with clear warnings on it, but is that because most people know not to do this, or is it because posts like are typically deleted? On the other hand I did see links to sites such as http://www.lansapharma.com/product/showproduct.php?lang=en&id=21 which show it as being a legitimate method of delivery (at least intramuscular, not intravenously in that case) which may confuse people, especially risk taking individuals with needles sitting around from other potentially questionable behaviors.
Regardless if piracetam or any other nootropics don't end up killing people directly, anytime people start messing with needles and veins, serious risk is at hand before the compound is even factored in.
I'm only halfway serious here, and at the risk of making the community look like knuckleheads, or maybe preventing it depending on how you look at it, should there be a warning in the FAQ (not that knuckleheads read FAQs beginning to end, but at least they may see it from a quick and lazy google search before their endeavor)?... Yeah, I considered keeping it up as a warning. However, with the current FDA crackdown on piracetam, I don't want to give them any fuel. I think it's best if we try and keep posts that people can construe as reckless off the radar, and search engine results.
