Dangers of too much magnesium?
Original post in this thread

I am taking a lot of magnesium glycinate (up to 1g daily) with vyvanse for ADD. Vyvanse causes me to clench my teeth, and I find that magnesium relieves this symptom. It's also speculated that magnesium may slow down build up of tolerance to amphetamines.
This amount of magnesium is not normal through diet alone, which worries me. I can't find reports of anything other than headaches associated with too much magnesium.
Could it be dangerous to take this amount?

Too high of magnesium levels in the bloodstream can adversely affect calcium levels. So just make sure you are not neglecting your calcium intake, and you should be fine. If you start shitting yourself, then lower your magnesium dosage.
