I miss adderall

I haven't done any amphetamines for over 6 months, but every time I look back on the days of daily adderall use I get huge waves of nostalgia and sadness. I feel like I'll never be as happy as I was when I was using adderall.
Does anyone else experience this with their DOC? Does this mean I'm addicted? Do you think I should continue to stay away from amphetamines?

I wish there was a "soft" version of an upper. I love smoking weed, but there's nothing to me like having the incomparable focus, energy, drive and confidence adderall gives me. It's weird, I've smoked weed almost daily for the past few years, but I never get cravings or feel I need it. Six months off adderall and I have such a longing for it. Like it's a long-distance girlfriend or an old friend.

There are many soft versions of uppers. However, you would just be replacing one substance to get hooked on, with another. DMAA is one. Modafinil is another. You can also stack caffeine with a GABA modulator like L-theanine to get rid of the "dirty" feelings. You can also try phenylpiracetam, or mix ephedrine with taurine and L-theanine to get a real energy boost. Add in a dopamine modulator, and you can get similar effects to what you are longing for with amphetamine.
