You are already stuck in the mindset that science is logical, and that it is a valid answer.
You do need drugs to take you out of this mindset that humans have enforced on themselves. They explain something illogical with logic. Throw it all away and formulate something yourself.

Logic is logical. Science is the external method in which people try and define that logic. My thoughts and beliefs come from myself. I find science interesting, but do not use it as a basis for my own thought process.
If I were to deviate from my own thoughts, would that not be counterproductive? If I were to force myself to think in a manner in which I did not believe in, would that be beneficial? Maybe so. I'll give it a shot.
