Bacopa up-regulates tryptophan hydroxylase, which helps the body produce more serotonin. However, it's not going to cause a release of 5-HT. So it should not have any adverse interactions with escitalopram.
Also, it up-regulates SERT expression as well. This might actually protect the body from serotonin syndrome, as it makes more SERT binding sites available for re-uptake of 5-HT. What implications that has on the effectiveness of your escitalopram, I am not sure.
Side note, is the SSRI helping your depression at all? Having gone through depression myself, and experiencing how shitty SSRIs make you feel, I would think you would like to get off of it. It is effective for some people. However, I think there are much better ways to tackle the issue.
