The results from the testing of Cognitive Nutrition's powdered piracetam, and the Fapiram branded 800mg piracetam tablets are in!

So both are pure and in the dosages stated. It was suggested to me earlier to take pictures of the various powders that we test, so that people can reference them with their own. I printed off a sheet of paper with printers marks and a blue background to provide contrast. What does everyone think about that method? Any suggestions?

As far as taking photos of samples if people can agree on (or be prescribed) an easy to follow protocol for taking standard shots of samples then others will have a better chance of telling things apart rather than very subjective descriptions as often occurs. As great as a testing campaign is, how do you know that what is tested is what you are about to ingest? Is it the same powder? Obviously this is very far from perfect and not fool proof but it would provide some standardisation / confidence. Also for verification if there is ever any dispute on results say with a supplier the same sample could be sent to multiple independent trusted parties, photographed and sent on for testing.
Seeing the above sample against a printed background I thought it would be good if anyone can print a standard template with reasonable accuracy and resolution and that can be a yardstick people could use to compare. Also it would allow a good way to compile a community record of all the powders floating around with batches/dates/suppliers recorded.
So I created a start of something that can be used as is or edited as the subreddit sees fit if it chooses to use it. If not all good. Aim was to make it super easy and even doable on a phone camera (sample provided). Color can be roughly calibrated (if ever needed) via a standard 18% & 50% gray (see link below) patch shade so different lighting &…

That's a pretty good idea. I'll retake the picture later today using the template.
