What age do you think is acceptable to start taking Nootropics?

I'm 18, but I'm just concerned if anything will affect further brain development.

That really depends on the specific substance and the individual. Unfortunately we don't have much hard data on nootropics use in adolescents, and the effects it has. However, if the choice was between prescription stimulant use and nootropics, I'd suggest nootropics.

My feeling on recreational drugs is to wait till your brain is done developing (~age 25). However, nootropics are different. But without good data, I really can't take a hard stance one way or another.
