Using hordenine and phenylpiracetam to potentiate MDMA

I know it's safe to use phenylpiracetam with MDMA, there is only anecdotal evidence that noopept and other 'tams potentiate MDMA, but i'll try it out.
What i'm really interested is hordenine, hordenine is said to be an MAO-b inhibitor, but some sources say otherwise, I know it is used to activate phenylethylamine which leads me to believe that it could be used to potentiate MDMA. Is this safe? Has it been done before?

Hordenine is not very studied in humans. It seems to be an MAO-B inhibitor, but has no affinity for MAO-A. So it should be ok with MDMA, but I am not positive. Oral administration of hordenine seems to be much less effective than IV in animal studies.
But the real question is, what do you want to potentiate? It's not going to add much to the experience, but could lead to higher blood pressure and peripheral effects. I'd say leave it.
The phenylpiracetam is another story. That might help add a little energy to the experience. Not as much as amphetamine would, but it will be much safer.
