Yes, but cattle ranching is also terrible for the environment (in a different way).

I'm just saying American's are just as stubborn as Chinese. If America loved fish, they would hardly thinking about curbing their consumption. People don't work like that, they don't think it has anything to do with them.

Also, If I am correct, large swaths of pasture are causing the extinction of many animals that inhabit the Amazon.

Why are you assuming that Americans wouldn't reduce their meat consumption? Myself and my girlfriend have. I rarely have red meat anymore. I mostly have plant based food, with some chicken and fish.

I also have multiple friends that have done the same.
