Day 4 & 5 of Modafinil, no effect.

Saturday I started taking 200mg of Modafinil in the morning. For the first three days, I noticed huge effects, I could not get board, didn't worry about time and just focused on what I was doing. Come day four and day five, all these effects are all gone. Anyone have any explanation?

Tolerance. I know people like to throw around the notion that it does not have one, but I say that is BS. It has affinities for the DA and NE transporters. That means there is some level of tolerance to certain aspects of it's effects. There is also the lessening of the novelty. Our brains are complicated systems. It's not as simple as put X in and get Y out every time.
