Chia Seeds?

Does anyone here have experience or know much about chia seeds? One of my friends got invested in this pyramid scheme involving selling chia seeds as a product under a brand name, and I remember asking /r/supplements about it awhile ago, and they essentially said it's not much more beneficial than fish oil (just good fats). This company, however, claims it's the best nutrient-dense food on the planet (which sounds silly, but who knows).
Here are some studies I dug up
http://www.springerlink.com/content/5448131842x8107m/ (Chia seeds as a source of natural lipid antioxidants)
http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/03670244.1991.9991195 (The nutritional and chemical evaluation of Chia seeds)
I wish I had access to those two above studies.
And finally, just a PubMed search:

In conclusion, ingestion of 25 g/day milled chia seeds for seven weeks by postmenopausal women resulted in significant increases in plasma ALA and EPA but not DPA and DHA.
So you'll still need fish oil for the DHA. I like chia seeds though. Probably wouldn't invest in a pyramid scheme selling them, haha.
